Good news Larry!
Larry..Dee and I are following Sandy's progress, and hoping for the best. We are in AZ. now. Please keep all of us informed. bill
Still in rehab. Couldn't move her right leg today, some kind of nerve thing. I spend most of everyday up there, getting home about 7:30pm. She called me about 8:30 and said she was able to move her leg some. We never figured on all this. We thought-get the surgery-hospital a couple days-go home. Sure hasn't worked out that way. I have to take her to get the staples out on Sat. the incisions are healing up really well. No idea when she'll get to come home. You just never know how connected you are--until your disconnected...We sure take a lot for granted sometimes.
Yeah, ya never know what's goning to happen next. I was sure hoping for the outcome you thought. Hang in there. It'll all work out. I agree about the connected/disconnected part. Thanks for the update. Still praying. God bless.
Like flinger says Larry, it'll all work out. Sometimes, especially now that we're older :biggrin it takes a bit longer for things to get "reconnected". Prayers are still working, so don't fret.
We have to crawl before we walk. I know it is tough now but it will be all worth it in the end.
I fought pain in my shoulder for 2 years before I had it rebuilt. It took 6 months to get usage back. It sucked at the time but my quality of life is so much better. I felt so good that I had the other one done.
I can't wait till she is back better than ever. Know that I am available if you or Sandy need anything. I'll be your ice fishing partner this year while she recovers!
The prayers are still going up for you folks. Donna can attest to the fact that healing doesn't happen as fast as we would like some times.
Hang tough and Hope you have a great CHRISTMAS
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR FRIENDS ON HERE!!! Hopefully she will get out of there by Wed. or Thurs. The decision is her's to make. She can leave whenever she thinks she's ready. Doing a lot better the last few days. Got all her staples out and the incisions look really good and healing well. She's doing good on her physical therapy. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers.
Prayers still on going

Haven't been on here much. Been busy with cooking, cleaning, dishes. Sandy is doing much better. She has PT 3 times a week. She is getting around good on the 4 wheel walker. Been running around here all morning on it. She walked a little without any help today. All in all, she's doing good.
Super news!
Great news, Larry.

glad to hear she is getting better Larry.
hopefully she will be ready to go fishing by the time you get some open water.!!
good luck to her and speedy recovery.
Been really busy here. Sandy goes to therapy Mon.-Wed. & Fri. and we usually make a little outing out of it. Going to lunch etc. She's starting to walk a little without the walker. Next week she starts working out in the pool. So far so good. Sorry I haven't been on here more. I do Tilda Tidey everyday, so, between that and running here and there, keeps me busy.
Great to hear sandy is doing good , it's a good thing she has a young stud for a husband around to nurse her back to health lol
Therapy is a long slow process. Sometimes we get frustrated with it because we know what we "used" to be able to do, or we know what we "should" be able to do. When I started, I couldn't life a glass of water off a countertop. My mind would tell me to lift it, but my arm would not do it. Frustrating to say the least. I had to force myself to use my arm even though I didn't want to. She will get back to "better than" her old self in time. Every day of doing it is a step in the right direction.
