My wife and I headed out to Jordan Lake early in the morning to fish and spend a day on the water.
Air temp was 54 when we got out on the lake and the water temp was 72/74. We fished in 3-10 foot of water using the old standard, hook, sinker bobber and red worms. We caught and released 9 bluegills of decent size, 3 perch and 1 smallmouth bass. (had a dinner date and didn't feel like cleaning fish)
You could look into the water and see a ton of minnows resulting in bass jumping out of the water all around us......my wife is convinced that is bass talk for "we're here but we ain't biting your stinkin hook".

FISH for LIFE
HUMANKIND......be both
I see a patch of lilies that would have had one of my bobbers and minnows next to it!!
Looks like fun
I have OCD "Obsessive Crappie Disorder"
Jordan is one of my favorite spring crappie spots, has a nice size average and a very good population of both gills and crappie.
I have been hearing more and more of some good perch catches also.
