Don, can you make this a sticky at the top of the page?
I will be donating some custom made jigs and a trolling motor remote lanyard or two. I will include other items as I take pictures of them.

Following in the footsteps of our southern brethren from Crappie.Com, we have decided to hold a charity raffle for the spring/summer crappie camp held at Croton Hardy pond on the weekend of June 6th and 7th. In lieu of doing door prizes, we have decided to perform a benefit raffle with the proceeds going to a local charity.
Don and Carol (Yankee Doodler and Cake Lady) did a lot of research and found a local charity that helps sponsor underprivileged kids to attend summer camps. In many instances, these kids would be left out on the street. This is our opportunity to help bolster the ranks of our future fishermen and women and possible make a difference in a young person’s life that might otherwise not have the opportunities afforded to them. Michigan Summer Camps, Day Camps - West MI | Camp Newaygo > Home
What we would like our attending members to do is to donate new, leftover, or slightly used equipment to be utilized for the raffle. This is the opportunity to clean out your tackle bags and boxes or gain some space back in your garage! This could be fishing rods, reels, extra fishing baits, tackle boxes, handheld GPS units, backpacks, etc… This could also be gift certificates to a local bait shop, bed and breakfast, hotel, or campground. The stuff doesn’t necessarily have to do with fishing but should at least be outdoors related.
Starting on Friday, (Liar’s Club) we will sell raffle tickets. I have not worked out the numbers yet, but I am thinking something along the lines of 1 ticket for $3.00, 2 tickets for $5.00, 6 tickets for $10.00 (or someone smarter than me can figure the math). We will sell the tickets until right before the raffle starts on Saturday.
On Saturday, we will line the products up on a table and place a cup next to each item. You will then take your tickets, separate them, and place as many tickets as you would like into the cup next to the item you would like to enter a drawing for. You will keep the other side of the ticket so you have the matching number when they are read off. Some items will have more tickets than others, and you can put as many of your tickets into each cup as you would like.
In order to get an idea of the amount of items we will have and give people the ability to browse through the potential items they would like to try and win, we ask that you please post a photo of the item or items you will be donating. We will utilize this thread to post all photos.
We will still have prizes available for the big fish winners and biggest 5 fish winners and will also have prizes on hand for any children that attend the event. If anyone has already collected prizes or donations for this event, we can utilize them in the raffle or they can be saved for the fall event coordinator.
I look forward to seeing the photos and taking home some new equipment!

My friend and coworker who I am actively working on to join, has put these two 6'6" Diawa salmon/steelhead poles up for the raffle. Lightly field tested one season and are in excellent condition.
