I am sure you will do fine, your touch is a lot better than mine. It was my first times ever vertical jigging and it made it very difficult for me.

Looks like the walleye bite is hot on Lake Michigan around Muskegon.
Have the day off work today. Last night I got all my fishing stuff gathered, packed the truck, put the trolling motor battery on the charger. My wife walks out and says, "don't forget, you have a doctors appointment in the morning".
well poop. No morning fishing. Hopefully the rain holds off for me to get a little in this afternoon.
