    Default Anyone Fishing?

This is the quietest that I have seen this forum. Is anybody fishing for anything? Or getting any deer? Kev usually has a deer to post. We have been Perchi'n a few times. Got 21 the first time and 17 the next time, and 6 the time after that. Then we got skunked 3-4 times and quit going. Trying to get things together for our trip to Sardis next month. Getting kind of excited about going. Thought maybe YD would have some tips for us on how to fish there? Probably different in the winter months.

I have done some salmon fishing from the bank. Caught a few steelhead but no salmon. Trolled for some bluegills for awhile and caught 2 really nice ones the other day but my dog kept jumping off the dog and swimming across the lake to my boat so I had to stop.

No fishing in several weeks no. Killing ducks for the next couple weekends. Then a pheasant preserve hunt on November 10, then rifle season opener. Finally going to have a few days off work. Taking the first 4 days of rifle season off this year. Whoooohooooooo!!! Gonna kill somethin
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

Good luck Slabrus! My brother has been slaying ducks. Where are you pheasant hunting at? My cousin does some guide work for some of the preserves around Michigan with his dogs.

We never found it hard to come up with fish out of Sardis, but I recommend you start lurking around the MS and AR forums and ask for some advice. There's a ton of knowledge just waiting to be tapped. Carl (Feelay) guides on Sardis and knows it well.

Sandy & I brought home 20 Perch yesterday. The biggest ones were 9" and the rest 7&8" We caught a lot of fish, but the really big ones haven't moved in yet. Still fun on a Perch rig.. Sorry, no pictures, you'll just have to take my word for it..lol
