I get confussed all the time. We could be driving down the road, talking about something, I pass by a lake with ice on it, and all I think about it "what lake is that...", "wonder what they catch", "are they catching anything", "Where is the boat launch", "wonder if a bait shop is close".... sorry dear, what were you saying?
That might have been the time she was talking about not paying attention to her.... or something like that.... I don't remember, I wasn't really listening

Friday evening about 5:30 we cruised out to Bolles Harbor - finally have ice. I watched a guy coming in that broke through near the edge. He said he got about 20 gills all day no perch yet. He told be the ice was about 4" thick. I like solid 6" ice before I put my big butt on it. Sounds good for maybe tonight (Sat) or Sunday. Time to load up the shanty. Hallelluah!
