Larry,
I saw photos of those lights in your boat this summer. I was really interested in them. My old lights were the floating style. You had to be carefull of the bulbs and so on. Yours look to be more durable. I'll be intersted to see them. Do you utilize a standard car/boat battery? I wonder if they make any that run on D cell.... Or maybe a motorcycle battery? Just thinking of weight issues. If they don't, maybe we just came up with our million dollar idea.
I'm headed to Joslin lake tonight in Washtenaw county. Hope to have some pictures for everyone. I love crappie fishing in the winter. Instead of perch or walleye, where the bobber slowly dissapears, crappie pull the line or slack it up. Sometimes, they bend the rod ever so slightly. The excitement leading up to the hook set, the hook set.... and then dinner!

We use a lawn tractor battery. These lights don't draw any juice. I seen a scooter battery at Walmart that I'm sure would work. Like I said, the man that made these lights passed away a couple months ago. I don't know if anyone is running his business or not. We want to get out at night in this warm up that's coming.
