Hey John, I'm on the west side of Lansing. Often have to drive out your way for any decent fishing!

I graduated from grand ledge, then moved to portland.
there is some good fishing west of there, if you know where to find them! :-)

Have been fishing mid-day. Duck hunting morning and evening. Martiny Flooding is great!!!

Hey, welcome to the Michigan Forums. Sounds like you had a pretty good day fishing. Everyone on here loves to see pictures of the fish others catch. If you get any, put them on.

All right Crappie 1, you asked for it! I'll see if I can figure out how to post pictures here. These are my wife's photos of cleaning and cooking these last two batches that we got. Some of them we (well, my wife ;)) stewed in coconut milk with bamboo shoots, Asian style. They are delicious this way, but you got to put up with the bones. Others, nothing fancy...filleted, skinned and into the fryer. Hard to beat.

These pictures are huge, but I haven't yet figured out how to resize them, and I'm going to bed.
