Sure was a good time at the Slabfest. A big thanks to all who came and contributed to the weekend. Thanks YD and Carol for the time and work you invest to make it go. Great people. delicious food, nice campground, good prizes, real cooks for the fish, and nice weather. What more do we need?

Just got my computer back on line, it's been out since Saturday A.M.. The trip back from Coldwater Friday night was about two hours. Tiff and Shelly said it was worth the trip. Lots of good conversation, nice to meet everyone and thank you for the "family values". Next time I'll get to bring the boat. I'm looking up Hamlin Lake as soon as I finish here then I'm heading for the Michigan Squirrel Hunter's web site that Dar's son told me about.
If we think we want a winter fest what about a trip to alcona? I know a person that might be able to locate some fish! Mike, I forgot that the bushy tail season opens tomorrow. One more thing to do tomorrow, oh darn! Might go perch fishing on Sunday. when does work ever get done?
