Yup, you'd be better suited to spend the money on another or bigger trolling motor battery.

You could get a group 31 deep cycle battery and if that dosent give you the run time that you want....you could connect two of them in parallel and you would have plenty of run time.

It depends on how you use the motor and what specific outboard you have.

It would take a lot of running at WOT to make a dent in recharging a TM battery. Your OB might give you 10A depending on when it was made.
