Back up camera

I was Wondering if the Wireless hitch cam uses Batteries for the wireless camera portion

all the ones that SAY wireless actually wire in someplace they call them WIRELESS because the signal from the camera is sent to the screen without them being wired together. at least on all the ones I looked

The camera ties into the rear trailer harness with the running lights (keeps camera on it vehicle lights are on) or backup wire or running lights if put the tow vehicle.

I bought a GPS for my truck that has an option to by a wireless rear view camera and use the GPS screen for the monitor. I have not bought the camera yet but, it was the main reason for me to buy it to keep watch on my boat behind my camper.
