I have a nice 14 ft fiber glass fishing boat and got a 8 hp outboard for it 55lbs...anyways, I took it out and it held up OK but I would like

to solidify the mounting on the boat. it just seemed a little shaky for my tastes. Any recommendations?? I was considering using some wood

and screwing through the fiberglass but not sure what to do?
