Default Converting Transom Mount TM to BOW??

    Hi,

I have a couple of ideas, but thought I would ask here, to see if any of you guys have done this?

I would like to take a Minn Kota Endura Max, 55# Variable Speed, 42" shaft Transom Mount Trolling Motor, and Mount it on the BOW of my old Bass Tracker Pro 160.

I am going to need some sort of bracket.

Any suggestions, comments, photos, would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    pescador

There is a lot of old foot control motors that have used up their time as to they no longer run. Maybe you could find someone that would part from one then you could swap them from their brackets. Then you would be able to just use a longer handle and also be able to store it just like the foot control motor. Check WTB on classifieds on here you may get a good deal on one laying in someones way.

Pescador; You can take a piece of shedule 40 PVC pipe that is the size or a little bigger than the handle saw a cut in the middle (so the clamp can tighten down onto handle) of it then slide over and use a pipe clamp or 2 to make a extension to whatever length you need then glue a PVC cap on the end.
