Default I am wanting to install a water pressure guage on my Yamaha 115 TRLW 2-stroke

and would like to try to find out where the location is that I will come off the motor with the water supply hose to the gauge. I have read, searched & searched but I can not find out exactly where this bolt is. From what I have read, it is a 14mm bolt with a orange/red gasket/washer and maybe should be located on the top of each head just above the spark plugs. Well I find a bolt on top of each head and I them it maybe 14mm but neither has a orange/red washer under them. I want to install this so I can adjust my motor on the jackplate to try and eliminate porpoising when I try to trim up in order to get more of the boat out of the water when I am on plane. Any help or info or picture would be greatly appreciated

    thank

I assume this would be a little older motor? Chances are that you found the correct bolts, they just don't have the recommended orange/red gasket like the book says. How many times are those books right anyway?

My question though is: If you are having issues with porpoising, have you tried to install a fin? Otherwise known as a hydorfoil stabilizer? They don't fix issues on every boat but they are made specifically to get you out of the water quicker, up on plane quicker, and eliminate porpoising. Might be worth a shot.
