    25 Evinrude . new coil cleaned points changed the condenser .still no spark . well i can hold the wire and git a tingle out of it . not much
    retired and now i will always fish

    first. also check that adjusting screws were tight. Check for poor grounds.

    i have taken the points completely out and cleaned them . and adjusted . will re check today .and if that doesen`t do i will replace the plug wire and kill wire . i have it unhooked where it comes out under the flywheel 1972 .
    retired and now i will always fish

    have you tried the spark plug?? lawnmower yesterday had no spark, found a fouled plug.--shu

    took the plate off that holds the coils and yep i changed the wrong coil put back together and both cylinders were firing . now water pump and carb. rebuild . should run fine .
    retired and now i will always fish

    got water pump in now it will not crank . got fire and gas . act like low compression . but did run last weak .i don`t normally use starting fluid but did and still will not crank .will try some sea foam next .
    retired and now i will always fish
