I have a Mercury 4 stroke 3.5hp motor for my little jon boat. Here is my problem. The gas tank that is on the motor hold maybe 3/4 of a gallon to a gallon tops I believe. I am wanting to know if I can hook up an external gas tank to it and how would I go about doing this?
