Default Tilt and Trim leaking oil....

My Mercury 50 HP is leaking the tilt and trim oil out of the top of the unit around the shaft at the cylinder cap, I ordered a seal kit from iBoats and was wondering how difficult it is to replace all the O rings (seals) in the cylinder?

    Thanks

I have a 1994 60hp Merc that was leaking oil around the shaft of the cylinder. I put some power steering fluid that contains stop-leak in the reservoir and it seems to have helped alot. I think rebuilding the cylinder wouldn't be a bad job, but you may need a spanner wrench to remove the top of the cylinder. Let me know how the repair kit works and how difficult of a job it is........I may be headed down that road in the near future!
