The transom on my 14 foot aluminum boat looks as if it has been rewelded on the top corners. When I trailed my 9.9 johnson for the first time on it the other day, the welded parts had cracked. It's just on the top though. Also, everytime I trim my motor the transom seems very weak and bends a good bit. I no longer trail my outboard with it on the transom. Is there a way to reinforce it with a metal sheet of some sort? Thanks for the help.
