Livewell pumps

I have a 1990 stratos the pumps on the two livewells do not work the aerator pumps work fine. I have changed the switch out. It seems like a fuse is blown but I have looked everywhere for one and can't find it? Anyone have any ideas? Or could the timer on the pumps have gone bad and keeping them from working? Any help is appreciated.

Most boats I've had, the fuse is before the switch, so if you have power to the switch, the fuse is probably okay. To trouble shoot, you should start at the pump itself. See if you are getting power there, if so the pump is bad. If not go back to the timer and see if power is coming to and from it. It's just a process of elimination finding the trouble.

I cut the wires at the pump and hooked them straight to battery and worked fine. I believe the timer is bad but you still think there would be an inline fuse somewere but i sure can seem to find it.

It is probably wired into the main fuse panel. Crawl under the dash and follow the wire from the switch back to the fuse panel and pull the fuse to see if it's good.
