    Default Gel coat question

I've wet sanded my 18 ft nitro and the gel coat just isn't looking new, looks a lot better tho. I was wondering if there would be any way to paint over the gel coat? May be a stupid question but wanted have to ask...

The clear coat will do the trick. It'll make the colors snap.

Yea he had told me to wet sand with scotch brite, buff real good, and clear. But the gel on mine is cracked deep, and I hate the rough look of it
