I have 97 yamaha tiller 30hsp oil injected ouitboard. I have owned it bout 3yrs and have had no problems. I was fishing days ago setting and checkin yoyos in shallow water (3ft) water temp 89 degrees outside temp bout 95 degrees. After bout 20 min I looked and saw the overtemp light on. I immed. Turned engine off. Water was comin out "peeing" like it should, no mud near inflow. I let it set, took cowling off and then when I restarted it, no light no issues.
Do you guys think this is something to be checked by mech? I just have never had issues with it and don't wanna start. Just getting yall's opinion
Thanks
Tom
