    Default boat carpet

What is the best way to clean the carpet. Someone told me to not use soap products because you cant get all the soap out.

i've always used soap on mine and rinsed it with a power washer. the bad spots soap, scrubb with a stiff brush then power wash. others will do it differently i'm sure.

I just cleaned my carpet, I used a small amount of dawn dish washing liquid on the stains and pressure washed the rest.
I still use one rod at a time!!

It's been ALOOOONG time since I owned a boat with carpeting, but when it got full of fish slime and started stinking I soaped 'er down. The soap rinsed out with alot of water, atleast most of it did, but it was either the smell or the soap. The answer was pretty easy for me.:o
