    Default size of tires

My trailer has 13" wheels on it. (Pro Crappie 175) I thought about putting 10 - 11" wheels on it to make it lower to the ground. Low profile-wide tires.

What is the good and bad of doing this?

    Thanks, Peke

The bad is....the smaller tires and wheels will have to turn a lot more to cover the same distance and you will be wearing tires and bearings out a lot faster. The smaller ones will also not have the weight carrying capacity as the larger ones. And....I cannot think of any good. I would keep the bigger tires and wheels.

Keep the 13" tires, also the larger tires will make launching easier.

I can't think of anything good about switching to a smaller tire size. 13" tire is really not that big to begin with. I have 13" tires on my trailer and never would even consider going smaller.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

mine are 14" and if I went smaller I'd be afraid that something might be dragging as it's kinda low profile anyway.

OK Thanks! My brother had suggested it, but I wasn't sure about doing it.
