new boat question

I am considering buying an EXPRESS 16' crappie jon boat that I saw at a recent boat show. Does anyone have experience or input or advice with the EXPRESS boats?

I bought one in 1995 new. 17' express model hd51 with 75 horse so for no promblem. I like it some time i wish it was smaller. But it get me where i need to go.

I had a Sea Nymph 16' stick steer with a 25 johnson. It was a good boat that gave good service for the 6 yrs I owned it. They have their drawbacks. Light weight is great behind the car, but bad in the wind and rough water. Ask everyone you see towing one about the pro's and con's before you buy. Keep in mind that with the economy down, lots of boats are selling at good prices. Look a lot before you buy. I've never heard any bad reports about express boats, I'm sure you'll get some other input. These are just my opinions.
