Thread: Old school panfishing

I did some old school panfishing thursday , throwing a jig under a bobber tipped with grass shrimp along some grass . There was a mix of bluegill and yellow perch . Had the jig set 3 ft deep they wanted it sitting still hardest part was keeping bow out of line with the wind blowing . Got some real nice ones kept a bunch for jobsite fish fry .Largest was this 13 1/4inch one .They are some great fighters on light tackle , alot of fun .
