Picked up some minnow at Anglers on my way home Tuesday Nov. 24. Stopped at a private pond on the eastern shore and fished an hour before dark catching a couple crappie about 9 inches. Released them both. Mossy still in this pond. On Friday, Nov. 27, I took a break from deer hunting and tried a couple of other ponds for a couple of hours. I only landed two small bass on crappie jigs. Ponds were super clear. I hope the fish move closer to shoreline and fishing improves soon. Back to the deer hunting.
