Well it was a crappy day for sure but me and G-duck went anyway and managed 31 crappie on the clicker counter .About 20 were good size they bit rite on the bottom holding it still, very slow bite mostly just lifted rod and felt wieght the ones I felt tap were the ones I missed.Nice to get out even tho it was nasty going to a coon roast football party this afternoon.

Same for me today, that bite was so gentle I had to use a float to see it since I couldn't feel it. Real time sonar helps a lot. At least you can see when to pay attention as the fish moves in. Saw a few massive schools of fish go under the boat and even had a few drop down to look at my jig. Tried a jigging Rapala and boy did it attract attention but after a lot of interest everyone would swim off without biting. Had to go down to a 1/32 oz and think I would have done better even smaller on 4 lb test. I only caught 7 but missed a bunch, bad tide and a lot of current for me.
