Fished an impoundment on 6/22. Conditions were hot with clear skies. Water temps were in the high 70s. Crappies were concentrated tight to deep structure in 10-14 foot of water. The bite was slow but wound up boating 6 on a mix of bass assassins, power tubes and gulp smelts. Average size was around 10 inches.
