Finally the wind slowed

The 1st 2 days of the holiday weekend the was howling over here foiled our fishing plans. Finally on Mon. they slowed so figured let the tide change another time to clear the water from the blow and go out in the afternoon . Took my wife and son and the dog of course and went to a trout spot we started kinda slow tide was ripping ,we got 6 but nothing real nice then we made a short move and the tide slowed a bit and it was on we got em steady my wife was smoking em kept me busy with the net .This was the 1st time my wife caught trout since she was pregnant with our 13 yr old son and she got some with me 1 nite. They bit gulps and bass assasins on 1/4 and 3/8 jig heads in 4ft of water. My wife is a Kevin Harvick #29 race fan and he won the race sun. and we got 29 trout on mon. oh 1 flounder too.

Great report again. I watched the wind and worked on the garden and house cleaning. I plan to get out this weekend and next, if so, I will post a report.
