    Default Old trick

Went out this morning just me and the dog decided I was gonna do some experimenting . Tried old trick my dad was known for yrs ago ,a 1" long x 1/4" wide strip of squid (yea squid) on a small shad dart . It still works! caught pretty steady on it this morn. kept moving around trying new spots or woulda got even more. Ended up this morn. with 21 crappie and 9 yellas to many pickeral. Went back out this afternoon to a different spot with my son and his friend we had a good time got 25 crappie 2 yellas 2 bluegill. My sons friend had never caught any crappie before so that made it even better. Let em all go today except for the yellas we just ate em. Water temp cooled off some from last week ranged from 53 to 58.Name: Picture 108.jpg

Man, puttin' the young lads on fish. Don't get no better than that. It'll be hard to figure out who'll will remember it more, you or them. Good job.

Plus introducin' 'em to the "Squid-billy" trick is just icin' on the cake.
