    Default 3 old buddies

Fished the Pocomoke today with 2 old friends. What a great, day lots of TRUE FISH STORIES well maybe just a few. Trying out my new used 16' jon and 25 yamaha. Seems like a nice rig, just needing a few minor adjustments to suit me. Kept 13 crappie 5 nice white perch, also caught a few pickerel and a few yellows and 1 catfish. Even enjoyed a few cold brews. Hope we don't have to wait as long to do it again. Next Tues to Shad landing for a week. It's going to be FUN.

That sounds like fun I've always thought about staying there for the weekend and fishing. They rent cabins too don't they ? I fish there alot in winter but never checked into it.

Yes they do rent cabins. Gets you out of the weather. 4 beds and a table, a/c and heat. Half price for seniors during the week. Nice ramp and a place to keep your boat in the water, no charge. I'll be there from Tuesday till Easter Monday. Cabin 179 ,stop and say hi. We have been doing this for over twenty five years, anywhere from forty to sixty people for dinner. All are family and friends and all are welcome. Only a few of us fish anymore, but we get enough for a fish fry on Friday night. The nice thing about fishing down there is you never know what you will catch. I have caught 9 species so far. Really a great place to fish and camp.

I think they are $51.00 per night. Not sure about winter. I think they are because of hunting season.

Old friends, new boat and cold beer. Sounds like the perfect day even without the good haul of fish.
