If you launch at the Park off Croom Station Rd the old bridge is up river from that. It's been about 15 years since I was there. Didn't crappie fish there back then, but caught plenty of bass and yellow perch.

There is a trash pile up in the western branch that has been hot. Its were the creek looks like its blocking the creek but its not. White jigs were the ticket for us.

    See above for where.

But be advised, it is a more of a tidal marsh than most places on the Potomac. Watch the tides or you could have trouble if you leave the main channels. Maybe a pushpole on board too. There are holes in most of the creeks but access can be troublesome. Assume everything is minimal depth until proven otherwise.

    Good Luckl!

thanks for the info. at the last minute we decided to go to a regular place for us on the potomac and fish bass. with all the warm weather the fish were right where we thought they should be. had a lot of hookups, and a lot of jumpoffs next to the boat. caught a good amount. headed to the sunken ships this weekend for some more good times.
