We had been smokin the crappie and yellow perch before this week but its gotten tough all the sudden . One of my older fishing buddies that fishes most days said he had a tough week too he said he thought the moon was the problem. Anyway thursday my son was off school so I took off and took him and his friend we fished real hard for 12 crappie and 7 perch 4 pickeral so they still had fun. Friday night catonsville steve and firefighting fisher came down and stayed at my place to get an early start on sat. morn. we teamed up with G-duck went 2 guys per boat had fun showed them the techniques that we had been smokin em with . First thing the bite was good but slowed way down as the sun got up and wind came. Was hoping to get out on the bigger boat to the salt water but way to windy for that but all in all I think we had a good time . Ended up sending home with a decent mess a fillets watched the capitals game and a few chillys on fri nite.Hopefully get em on em a better next time.
