I received an email from the Maryland Department of the Environment Wetlands and Waterways Program that the application for the CC connector thru the Mattawomen Swamp has been denied. Unless they add the several studies needed the application will be dead in 6 months. Must wait two years to re-apply. This is very good news..

It is the last chance on the Potomac to keep a pristine fishery and ecosystem alive.
