27 and 27 !

Had a late night out at our local racetrack and was gonna sleep in but my k-9 sidekid had other ideas so once awake I decided we would go fishing. Plan was to hit a notorious early spot then come home get my nieghbor and go with him to another spot. Well the fish kept biting even after the sun got high which never happens at this spot so I never made back to get the nieghbor. Catching good sized crappie and a few yellow perch I lost count on how many were in the livewell (which I used for the 1st time) so I started releasing and got to 27 on the clicker which I started using. I got home and had 27 crappie in the well and 7 perch and released 27 for a total of 54. 6 of the the crappie were over a pound and were about 13" to 13 7/8" the smallest were 10" of the ones kept. Chart. twister trolled was hot water temp was 55. Also had a 22" and 23" pickeral .

That brings back memories goose hunting in the am crappie mid day under the old wooden bridge then more goose hunting then lots a beer by the bonfire. Talk to ya tommorow about this or next weekend . Go Ravens
