Irene is messing up fishing plans!

That darn Irene , she's really messing up our fishing plans lol. I guess thats the least of our worries now though. Took the dog swimming last night around 6 water was pretty wanted to fish , gonna change fast now though. G-duck come this way if the water starts gettin to high we're a little higher here. I got a welder from work to use as a generator. I bet our ponds are gonna be full pool again.

all we got from her was a breezy day on the lake today, 10-15mph, so longlining was a bit difficult, but shouldn't complain any as the sun was shining, the wind only 10-15 vs 100+, and will have electricity tonight. I know lots and lots of people on the coast will not. Hope all are safe over there.

Wasn't as bad as we thought some people on my road had some trees down saw some houses that got tore up from a tornado. We have worse weather and flooding from winter noreasters that don't make the national news . I'm not conplaining though. When the wind turned from the west the tide got about as low as you'll see it.

Down trees and power lines. My aunt and mother in-law's basement flooded. I did see a new Dodge pickup with a tree on it. Just got the power back on here. The worst thing I had was not being able to fish!
