    Default salt water today

Gave the crappie a break and took the maycraft out in the salty water today the wind was howling but we managed a good pick on croakers which is what the guy I took wanted to catch. We kept 41 plus 7 white perch and 1 rock. Fished around Deal island in the mouth of the Manokin. Either going flounder fishing in the am. or finishing up the jon boat project will decide in the am.

Ahh, croakers!!!! Not fond of the large size, but smaller size are SWEET!!! Good eating fish! You said FLOUNDERS? I haven't been flounder fishing in years. They were awesome fishing many years ago (Quincy, Mass.) and last time I went, it had to be bout 12 years ago (Quaogue, Long Island). Just hasn't been the same. You do any fishing for fluke (when in season)? How about spots?

We call fluke flounder down here and we also have winter flounder, the croakers were mostly around 12"-13"
