    Default Maiden voyage

I took my new jon boat I've been setting up on its maiden voyage (since I've owned it) yesterday, must of been real anxious left the plug out :oluckily it was pulled to the bank anyway just a little bailing:D Came off the trailer real good too. Got fishing and lost the 1st 4 fish I'm thinking this aint good. Then I got settled down and started catching a mix of crappie and yellow perch. Ended up getting 18 crappie and about that many yellows.Had stuff to do later so I released all fish. The biggest crappie was a spawned out female 15 1/4" 1lb. 13 oz. the rest were 9"-12" Turned out good after a rough start.Still got stuff to do to it but had to try it out. Got the depth finder mounted yesterday afternoon.

Sounds like a good time after the minor incident. When are we going to see some pics of the boat?

same here tear em up i got to get my boat out for the first time this year yesterday and when we got to the lake the water level was the highest i've seen it in years but with just a couple gliches first off it all went well we got to fish fro about 2 hours and the rain started and pounded so we elected to leave got home and 15 min later no more rain for hours. so i guess it's win some lose some lol.

glad you was putting the hammer on em though i'll gt my chance i even left the boat hooked up for maybe a evening trip lol.

I'll try to post some pics tomorrow wish I had the camera with me sat. for that big one . Almost kept it but I allready had let the others go caught that right before I was leaving so I didn't see any sense in keeping one to take home for a pic. Had to get the new jon out cause I sold the other one last sun.Might take the big boat flounder fishing this week.
