A desperate fish!!!
I decided to test out what I have learned last week and went to fishing after work. I went to Sport Authority and brought a panther martin spinner and then went to Clopper Lake around 6pm. I fished for like an hour and nothing bite at all. I actually was just testing how I reel affect the panther martin spin. I noticed that if I reel it fast and point the rod low, the spinner has a lot of movement. But when I try to reel it slow, it either has very little movement or the panther martin get tangle up with the line. It either my palomar knot isn't perfect (first time with palomar knot) or a loop knot is better. I didn't remember how to tie a loop knot, so I didn't try. Can someone give me some advices please? By the way, after an hour with no bite, I decided to cast a few more and somehow a desperate fish from no where bit my panther martin. It turned out to be a largemouth bass about 10 inches long. Don't know it luck or just my skills got better that fast because I decided to stay another half hour and didn't catch anything
