    Default Crappie in 2011

Well I can feel it in my bones and today Phil did not see his shadow. So I am guessing that the crappie will bite early March on the tidal rivers. Peak will still be April Fools Day as it has been in the last 20 years.. except that one year we had a big snow storm on St Patrick's day.

I have all my free days booked up this year and will be experimenting with some new rigs.

If they work good I will share them here and only here for you guys.

I am ready as soon as my driveway is snow free.

Thanks for the prediction Mike. I too enjoy your posts. I have never fished the upper Potomac but hope to someday. Can you explain what you mean by your free days?
    Thanks, Steve

You going to try some more artificials this year ? I bet a 2 1/2" fin-s would be killer up there.
