Crappie at dusk!

Crappie dude (my son) and I went to an evening bank fishing spot tonight he caught a yellow perch and a crappie before I could get my line in , he ended up catching 5 crappie and the perch and we ended up catching 14 crappie together. They slowed down when it got all the way dark and we went Mcdonalds. Gduck stopped and took a pic of crappie dude with 1 of his crappie he'll post it when he gets his computer back. Hot baits were blue silver tubes and 2 1/2 "fin-s dark blue. Mdcrappie I tried the power pro ,wow the hits feel much harder only bad thing was it seemed to stick a little coming off the spool.

You can feel everything with it. If you get snagged and tug on it the line will "dig" in and you will then have to pull it off by hand prior to casting. That's the only time I have any problems with the "sticking".

We went again today I got it to work better but it did seem like the river crappie atleast on a bright day like today were shy of it I got way more hits on mono, might just have to get more confidence in it.

yep i was there too, and i caught a couple too and lost a couple, they were bitin real good and was proud to watch the dude do so well, hes a chip of the old blockhead.
