    Default Temps finally under 60

The surface temp was 58.7 this morning when I launched. Didn't plan on keeping any fish due to plans this afternoon, but I would have had 8 or 10 over my 10" minimum.
I got 3 that were over 12". Here is a pic of one of those. (fyi -my board is 5 1/4" wide inside)

Of course I got them shooting docks.

    Looks like it's finally on!

Thanks - This was my first trip for Crappie this fall. Went out last week (for the first time in 45 years living in Md) on the Severn looking for white perch

    Here were the 4 biggest....(2 at 11+ and 2 at 12+)

    The biggest...

The guy who took me went out 2 days later and got this one....want to talk monster perch!

Man that is a nice one ! a friend of my up that way has been doing well in the Magothy using beetle spins around docks . I remember going in the severn with my Dad years ago and catching some big perch seemed like at that time we wouldn't catch the numbers we would other places but they were always big there.

That sounds a lot like me. I live on the Magothy and probably caught 800 - 900 White Perch this year, mostly on a beetlespin. White beetle/silver blade seemed to be the hot ticket. They;re still biting pretty good, and I landed a few nice Yellow Perch last week on the same beetlespin.

A silver Super Duper has worked pretty well all summer too.
