Wife likes to fish (yeah, I know)

Anyway, we just got a small boat and are going to be out in the bay (Annapolis area) and doing a little bit of fishing (and hopefully some bar hopping !!).

I do not fish. What is a good start as far as equipment goes (on a budget). I am doing this because it gets me out on the water and I won't mind giving something new a shot. My wife used to fish a lot with her father, but she has no clue about equipment and truth is, neither do I.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

You could start out bottom fishing for white perch and croakers thats not to complicated. Go to anglers tackle shop on 50 they can probably help you of up at clydes sport shop in landsdown there pretty helpfull.
