No Crappie for us this weekend, But????

1st weekend in a while that did not get out on the freshwater. But did get out friday afternoon to try the crabs on a local eastern shore river with crappie dude and tear em up. We had to work hard but ended getting almost a bushel before the sun gave up on us. Running a 1500 ft line and our best run was 7 crabs with lots of 2 and 3 per run, just enough to keep us from moving but a pretty hard way to make a bushel.
Spent rest of weekend getting caught up on my lawn business and tear em up helped me with a big tree job saturday, wow ended up hauling 3300 lbs of just one tree to the dump, thought would be a quick job but ended up spending 5 hours and 4 trips to the dump, but its done so back to fishing and crabing for the rest of the summer hopfully.
Tear em up took his family to another spot crabbing on sunday but i'll let him relate that story to you all. Have a great week!
