Slow day on the crappie today???

Took my friend up north to a area where ive had some good sunny day catches on crappie several times but got zippo??? Kind of a shock only got two maybe panfish bites that I didnt even come close to hooking? Guess im not much of a guide but though this would be a good chance of showing some exceptional crappie fishing.
Oh well it was not a total loss NY Dave caught his largest chain pickeral ever which was a thrill for him, im glad he got that since it was the only fish we caught in 3 hours??
Id tell you what I used but I really used it all to try find a bite but no good? Ill stop belly achin now cause this is a rare day for us our usual fishing I really beleive is exceptional most times but we need a day like this to humble us and show us how truly lucky we are to have the fishery we have here on the eastern shore.

I didn't do to good this morn. either got 2 nice y.perch 1 pickeral guess something was up with em this morn. Looks like Molly was enjoying herself up on the bow. Maybe 1 of these days we'll go north to lake Ontario and fish with NY Dave.

Must be the weather conditions. I caught 7 yellow perch today and saw 1 crappie caught.
