Hit my favorite area on Saturday and started off checking submerged cover in deeper water. Caught a few early in the morning but then found some holding tight to cypress trees in shallow water right before I left. I didn't have time to clean them when I got home (I had to take my wife eat out to celebrate our anniversary), so I just threw some ice on them and left the ice chest in my boat. Headed out Sunday morning again, and when I couldn't find any on the deeper structure like I did the day before, I headed to the shallow cypress trees. Glad I did because I had a blast catching them shallow under a cork. I caught better on black and chartreuse on Saturday, but the water was a little clearer on Sunday, so I did much better on blue and white. Had my cork set at about 12-14 inches. The attached picture is what I caught over the two days. Man, the spawn is fun!
