11/17/2025 Shallow on the LOW BAYOU

[BON TEMPS]

Couldn’t stop thinking about the very big bunch of Sacalait I discovered on the bayou last Friday. When the opportunity finally presented itself at noon on Monday I jumped on the boat. I was very disappointed but not very surprised the Sacalait had disappeared. I never found large groups of them but I picked off a few here and there. Ended up with 18 keepers in 3 hours.
GOOD TIMES ON DA BAYOU.
Lesson today was look high and low, deep and shallow!! The water came up and the Sacalait moved.
