    pretty sure positive a large gar tried to eat this here crappie ....
    sure did ruin the filet , If that was the intended outcome of this capture
    looks like it was a painful wound to me , glad it wasn't on me

    Amazing they will heal right up though. I've seen many nasty wounds as you have heal up.

    Someone who recently retired where I work got bit by what he thinks was a gar while working on the dock at his camp--had to take antibiotics and was limping around for a few days about a week from his official retirement date.
    If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
