Test Run trying to decide which lake to go to

Going today so trying to decide between a 1.5 hour and a 10 minute drive this morning so went up last night for a few minutes without the boat to make a few casts from the bank to test the 10 min drive.

I almost gave up but the 3rd cast hooked one. Not much but did catch a couple and a bass but the 1.5 hour drive lake has come up nearly 8 foot in the past two days so think we'll pas on it. Plus couldn't trust the guides for any goo advise!

Caught that beautiful drip of water from the tail in the second photo like a true professional photographer.

yep , needs to give it some contrast in the edit dept. a bit of sharpening and tone down the brightness and .....

Was a pretty good choice, yesterday ending up with about a dozen good ones, threw some smaller crappie back but even those were over 9 inches. Caught 3 drum and a bass and even lost a few nice crappie. All males getting ready except cleaned 1 female and no freezing straight from the water to the dinner table.
It was my good luck koozie I bet. Thanks Billbob
