Default First cast 13” black crappie

Went fishing in 48 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, sunny day with a west wind small craft advisory. Caught and released a 13” black crappie on my first cast of the day with Walmart Canadian night crawlers. Two members of the bucket brigade came over and asked me to give them my fish . I said no. Caught and released 7 black crappies, 6 yellow perch to 11”, 4 bluegills, 2 white crappies, a pumpkinseed sunfish and a gizzard shad. Landed my third double for this year, a bluegill and a yellow perch. Caught 100 fish in 6 trips in the same spot with worms this year. Fishing while surrounded by the bucket brigade was not fun. Saw Canada geese, double crested cormorants, common mergansers, great blue heron, an adult bald eagle , squirrels ️ and too many people. Took pictures.Name: IMG_8326.jpg

Nice day fishing with great variety. I won't give fish away either. A few warm days and it seems everyone in the world is fishing, spring is almost here.
